Dainty Crocus Earrings, Sterling Silver (SOLD)
Just a few days ago I drew this design with the intention to make it on the 1st-2nd February weekend. I thought the crocuses would still take a few more weeks, but I discovered them on saturday whilst walking my dog! They have been my favourite flower since childhood, and always put me in a good mood.
They would be a perfect gift to someone born in February (or March) when the crocus flowers typically bloom or for Valentine's day!.
They are fairly lightweight and dainty, and pretty eye-catcher to any springtime outfit. Their approximate drop is 6.8 cm (including earhook), the length of the earring itself is ca. 5 cm, the width 2,5 cm.
The weight in silver together: 4,61 g.
These earrings are made in 925 Sterling Silver, with many details soldered. I tried to include some of the crocus leafs into the design. I soldered everything in hard solder (highest temperature), which helps if any potential repairs should it ever occur in the far,far future because these are made to last and hopefully will never break. They have a 925 stamp in the bottom, as well as in the earring hook.
The earrings are delivered in a jewellery giftbox with a polishing cloth. The silver doesn't oxidise very fast normally, but if you store it away for a long time it can. They also come with silicon backings so you do not need to worry about losing them!
